MEETING WITH STATE LEGISLATORS ABOUT IMPACT OF LEGISLATION ON PROSECUTORS AND VICTIMS OF CRIME. MEETING QUARTERLY WITH STATE ENTITIES AND NON-PROFITS THAT WORK IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE FIELD, AND PROVIDE UPDATES ABOUT THE STATUS OF THEIR AGENCY AND ALLOW MEMBERS TO COMMUNICATE QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS THAT CAN HELP DISTRICT ATTORNEYS' OFFICES. ADVOCATE THROUGH THE HOUSE AND SENATE APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEES ABOUT BUDGETARY NEEDS FOR DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICES, AND HAVE SUCCESSFULLY ADVOCATED FOR RAISES OF STATE PAID EMPLOYEES, AND HAVE ADDED JUVENILE COURT PROSECUTORS AND ACCOUNTABILITY COURTS THROUGH LEGISLATIVE FUNDING. WE ALSO ELECT A MEMBER TO REPRESENT THE STATE OF GEORGIA AT THE NATIONAL DISTRICT ATTORNEYS' ASSOCIATION.
