WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVOKING CHANGE IN COMMUNITIES BY ACTIVATING THE MINDSET OF YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES THAT HAVE THE DESIRE AND VISION TO LIVE ABOVE GENERATIONAL POVERTY, HOMELESSNESS AND HUNGER. THROUGH EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, EMPOWERMENT AND ENGAGEMENT WE WILL STRATEGICALLY UPLIFT AND RENEW THE COMMUNITIES AND FAMILIES WE COMMECT WITH.

HOMELESS 2 HOME, SUCCESSFULLY GUIDED FOUR CLIENTS AGE 50 AND ABOVE INTO HOUSING IN 2022, EACH OF THE CLIENTS WERE IN HOMELESSNESS FOR GREATER THAN 2 YEARS. GENERATIONS RENOVATED 3 BEDROOM 2BATH TRAILER ON THE PROPERTY, ONCE RENOVATIONS WERE COMPLETE 3 CLIENTS WERE ABLE TO MOVE IN. GENERATIONS CONTINUES TO ASSIST THESE CLEINTS BY PROVIDING RIDES TO APPOINTMENTS, GETTING ONE IN A LITERACY PROGRAM TO ASSIST WITH READING AND INDEPENDENT LIVING. CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO OPEN BANK ACCOUNTS AND WE PROVIDE MONEY MANAGEMENT, BUDGETING, NUTRITION AND WELLNESS TRAINING.
FRIENDS IN THE PARK IS A PROGRAM THAT SERVES HOT DINNER MEALS 365 DAYS A YEAR TO THE HOMELESS COMMUNITY IN PLANT CITY FLORIDA, THIS IS TRULY A COMMUNITY EFFORT BEING GENERATIONS RENEWED HAS PARTNERED WITH OVER 30 CHURCHES, CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS AND PRIVATE FAMILIES TO ORGANIZE THIS PROGRAM FROM DAY TO DAY AND MONTH TO MONTH. GENERATIONS MAINTAINS THE BASIC OPERATIONS OF THE PROGRAM AND PROVIDE FOOD WHEN AN ORGANIZATION CAN NOT PROVIDE FOOD FOR THIER ALLOTED TIME.
MOBILE FOOD PANTRY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FEEDING TAMPA BAY, GENERATIONS RENEWED PROVIDES FOOD IN FOUR FOOD DESERTS WEEKLY IN PLANT CITY, FLORIDA. SEVERAL COMMUNITITES IN THE PLANT CITY AREA HAS A HIGH VOLUME OF RESIDENTS THAT ARE LIVING IN POVERTY, AND THEY HAVE NOWAY TO GET INTO TOWN TO GET FOOD FROM THE LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES AND GROCERY STORES DUE TO LIMITED OR NO TRANSPORTATION. BUT THE GENERATIONS RENEWED MOBILE FOOD PANTRY PROVIDES OVER 15,000 POUNDS OF FOOD OR MORE TO PER MONTH TO RESIDENTS THAT COME OUT TO LOCAL CHURCHES WHERE WE ARE SETUP THAT ARE IN WALKING OR BIKE DISTANCE FOR THEM TO GET FOOD FOR THE HOUSEHOLD. THIS IS DISTRIBUTION ALSO CONTRIBUTES FOOD TO OTHER CHURCHES IN THE AREA FOR FAMILIES THAT MAY NOT MAKE TO THE FOOD DROP, BUT FOOD CAN BE DELIVERED TO THE HOMES.
