Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
IN 2022, THE INDEPENDENT VETERINARY PRACTITIONERS ASSOCIATION (IVPA) DEVELOPED A STRATEGIC PLAN AIMED AT ENHANCING MEMBER BENEFITS TO BETTER COMPETE WITH PRIVATE EQUITY-OWNED CORPORATIONS FOR EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. THESE MEMBER BENEFITS HELPED MEMBERS MANAGE EXPENSES AND OFFER EMPLOYEE BENEFITS THAT WERE TYPICALLY ONLY AVAILABLE TO LARGER PRACTICES. TO SUPPORT THIS PLAN, IVPA HOSTED TWO HALF-DAY VIRTUAL CONFERENCES FOR MEMBERS, GUESTS, AND VETERINARY STUDENTS. THESE EVENTS HELPED RAISE AWARENESS OF THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS MISSION WHILE ALSO ASSISTING MEMBER CLINICS WITH ENGAGING VETERINARY STUDENTS AS POTENTIAL FUTURE EMPLOYEES OR PRACTICE OWNERS. IVPA COMMITTEES ACTIVELY SOUGHT VENDORS AND SPONSORS TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS MEMBERS, HELPING TO SUSTAIN THE VIABILITY OF INDEPENDENTLY OWNED VETERINARY PRACTICES.MOVING FORWARD, THE 2023 IVPA STRATEGIC PLAN WILL FOCUS ON MEMBER ACQUISITION, ENGAGEMENT, AND RETENTION. OVERALL, IVPA HAD A STABLE YEAR IN 2022, MODERATELY INCREASING ITS VISIBILITY WITHIN THE VETERINARY COMMUNITY AND PROVIDING VALUABLE RESOURCES TO MEMBER CLINICS. WE LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUED GROWTH AND SUCCESS IN THE COMING YEAR.
