THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE URBAN AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE IS TO PROVIDE URBAN FARMERS WITH TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON HOW TO GROW AND MARKET NUTRITIONAL ORGANIC PRODUCE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO RECRUITS AND HELPS NEW URBAN FARMERS TO LOCATE AREAS TO SET UP THEIR FARMS, PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, PROVIDE SUPPLIES AND TOOLS WHERE NEEDED AND TO MONITOR THEIR PROGRESS.

IN 2021 URBAN AGRICULTURE COOPERATIVE ORGANIZED AND VENDED THIRTY FIVE (35) FARMER'S MARKETS. ORGANIZED OVER ONE HUNDRED (100) VOLUNTEERS AT FARMER'S MARKETS AND GARDEN PROGRAMS. ORGANIZED TWENTY (20) COMMUNITY GARDENERS TO GROW THEIR OWN FOOD. PUCHASED AND SOLD FIFTY THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($50,900) WORTH OF LOCAL PRODUCE FROM FAMILY FARMS AND SOLD IT TO LOW AND MODERATE INCOME RESIDENTS.
