SINCE THE GRAND OPENING OF GIX IN SEPTEMBER 2017, THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN WORKING WITH TSINGHUA UNIVERSITY AND UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON ON THE DAY -TO-DAY OPERATINGS OF THE GIX DUAL-DEGREE PROGRAM AND HAS ENGAGED IN COMMUNICATIONS AMONG MULTIPLE PARTICIPANTS OF THE GIX NETWORK. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION LEVERAGES TSIGNHUA ALUMNI TALENT AND CAPITAL RESOURCES IN NORTH AMERICA TO PROMOTE INNOVATIONS IN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION COOPERATION. PROJECTS INCLUDE MENTORING STUDENTS ON PROJECTS, PROVIDING PLACEMENT ADVICE, HOLDING SEMINARS AND LECTURES, AND HOSTING INNOVATION COMPETITIONS.THE ORGANIZATION FOCUSES ON PROMOTING GLOBAL COLLABORATION WHILE ALSO SERVING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.
