GNJ PHYSICIANS GROUP, PC WAS ORGANIZED TO ENGAGE IN THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE AND IN ANY OTHER CLOSELY ALLIED OR NON-MEDICAL ACTIVITIES. THE CORPORATION WAS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES. TO SERVE AS A PHYSICIAN SERVICES COMPONENT OF AN INTEGRATED HEALTH CARE DELIVERY SYSTEM AND TO THEREBY PROMOTE, SUPPORT AND FURTHER THE CHARITABLE PURPOSES AND INTERESTS OF GEISINGER HEALTH. TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY MEDICAL CARE TO THE COMMUNITY SERVED BY THE HEALTH SYSTEM AND TO ALLEVIATE THE HEALTH CARE SHORTAGE OF PRIMARY AND FAMILY PRACTICE SERVICES IN THE COMMUNITY SERVED BY THE HEALTH SYSTEM. TO STAFF, OPERATE AND MANAGE OUTPATIENT CLINICS AND/OR OTHER SITES SPONSORED BY THE HEALTH SYSTEM, TO ENSURE THAT THESE FACILITIES AND OFFICES ARE OPERATED EFFICIENTLY, PROVIDE A HIGH QUALITY OF MEDICAL CARE AND OPERATE CONSISTENT WITH THE HEALTH SYSTEM'S CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
