LEASE A COMMUNITY CENTER TO THE UNITED WAY OF BROWN COUNTY FOR USE IN PROVIDING YMCA PROGRAMS TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. ALSO, BEGINNING IN 2009, MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO AND OPERATE A GOLF COURSE PRIMARILY FOR THE RESIDENTS OF BROWN COUNTY.

ON JANUARY 7, 2009, MT. STERLING COMMUNITY CENTER, NFP RECEIVED LAND, BUILDINGS AND EQUIPMENT IN A TRANSFER FROM ROLLING GREENS GOLF CLUB, INC. THE CENTER COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITIONAL NINE HOLES AND MADE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ORIGINAL NINE HOLES IN 2010 AND OPERATED THE COMPLETED FACILITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC SINCE THEN. THE GOLF COURSE HAS APPROXIMATELY 90 MEMBERS AND ALSO SERVES THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
MT. STERLING COMMUNITY CENTER, NFP LEASES ITS FACILITY TO UNITED WAY OF BROWN COUNTY FOR 1 PER YEAR. UNITED WAY OF BROWN COUNTY IN TURN SUB- LEASES THE FACILITY TO THE YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF QUINCY, ILLINOIS WHICH OPERATES THE FACILITY BY PROVIDING TYPICAL YMCA PROGRAMS TO YMCA MEMBERS AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AS PERMITTED BY YMCA POLICY.
