FRENCH CULTURE FILM GRANT. IN 2021, THE FRENCH CULTURE FILM GRANT CELEBRATED ITS FIFTH YEAR. THIS GRANT IS AN INDUSTRY-BUILDING INITIATIVE THAT RECOGNIZES AND CELEBRATES THE CREATIVE COMMUNITY IN LOUISIANA AND THE STATE'S DEEP CONNECTION TO FRENCH AND FRANCOPHONE CULTURE. THE LEAD SPONSOR OF THIS GRANT WAS TV5MONDE USA, AMERICA'S ONLY 24/7 FRENCH LANGUAGE ENTERTAINMENT CHANNEL. LA FONDATION LOUISIANE ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO THE FRENCH CULTURE FILM GRANT. THE RECIPIENTS FUNDED IN 2021 WERE NOUS FOUNDATION, INC (2021 RECIPIENT, PAID $10,000 IN 2021) AND MAKEMADE, LLC (2020 RECIPIENT, PAID $15,000 IN 2021).
