CREATIVE LEARNING SPACES/EDUCATIONAL GUIDE & COMMUNITY RESOURCES/COMMUNITY EVENTS:WE PROVIDED MANY EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR PUBLIC WORKSHOPS, EDUCATIONAL SERIES & CONFERENCES WHICH EXPLORED CREATIVITY, COMMUNITY BUILDING AND RESILIENCE.WE PROVIDED THE COMMUNITY ACCESS TO OUR BLOG, A LIVING COLLECTION OF FREE RESOURCE GUIDES & INTERVIEWS.OUR CREATIVE FUTURE OF TEXAS FUND AWARDED $9000 TO 10 DIFFERENT WOMEN & LGBTQ+ CREATIVE FOUNDERS, DESIGNERS, & ARTISTS IN TEXAS.OUR COMMUNITY LEADERS OF COLOR MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE PROVIDED $7000+ IN PROBONO COUNSELING SESSIONS FOR 15 LEADERS WORKING TOWARDS RACIAL JUSTICE. THE RESIDENCY NURTURES 15 TEXAS BASED ARTISTS PER YEAR, CONNECTING THEM TO COMMISSIONS WITHIN OUR PROGRAMS, AS WELL AS COLLABORATIONS WITH OUR PARTNERS. WE HOSTED NUMEROUS WORKSHOPS & GATHERINGS, SUPPORTING CREATIVE LEARNING,COMMUNITY-BUILDING & PROFESSIONAL RESILIENCE AT OUR HEADQUARTERS. (CONTINUED ON SCH O)
THROUGH OUR MARKET PROGRAM, THE FRONT MARKET, WE AMPLIFIED WOMEN AND LGBTQ+ CREATIVES, ARTISTS, DESIGNERS, FOUNDERS AND LEADERS AND PROVIDED THEM ACCESS TO NEW CUSTOMERS.WE PLANNED, PRODUCED AND PRESENTED OUR FIRST-EVER HOLIDAY SEASON OF THE FRONT MARKET, SHOWCASING MORE THAN 190 CREATIVE AND SMALL BUSINESS VENDORS IN TEXAS.TOGETHER WITH OUR OTHER PROGRAM SERVICE, THE FRONT FESTIVAL, THESE TWO SHOWCASES AMPLIFIED WOMEN AND LGBTQ+ CREATIVES, ARTISTS, DESIGNERS, FOUNDERS AND LEADERS, WHILE WELCOMING MORE THAN 4,500+ VISITORS. THESE EVENTS ALSO INCLUDED AN 150+ VENDOR LINEUP AS WELL AS 20+ ARTIST LINEUP.
THROUGH OUR FESTIVAL, THE FRONT FESTIVAL, WE PROVIDE PEFORMANCE AND COMMISSION OPPORTUNITIES TO ARTISTS, WHILE CONNECTING THEM TO NEW FANS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
DUE TO COVID SHUTDOWNS,OUR BIANNUAL ENTREPRENEURIAL CONFERENCE, WORK, WAS NOT ACTIVE IN 2021 OR 2022 BUT WILL RETURN AT A LATER DATE.
