WE ADVOCATE FOR UNHOUSED RESIDENTS IN RICHMOND TO PROMOTE SOCIAL EQUITY. RESIDENTS HAVE LEARNED TO SPEAK WITH COUNCIL MEMBERS AND ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES AT CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENT
HOLISTIC RESISTANCE TEACHES AND MENTORS FOLKS WHO SEEK RACIAL JUSTICE AND GENDER JUSTICE. THIS IS A VERY SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM THAT DRAWS PARTICIPANTS NATIONWIDE. THE FUNDS FISCALLY SPONSORED BY COLLABORISING ALLOWED HOLISTIC RESISTANCE TO EXPAND OUR TEAM AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR PROGRAMS. OUR WORK SUPPORTED OVER 500 PEOPLE IN 2022 THROUGH WORKSHOPS, TRAININGS, COACHING, MENTORSHIP, AND CRISIS SUPPORT IN OUR AFRICAN HERITAGE COMMUNITY.
COLLABORISING CONDUCTED A MAJOR ENCAMPMENT DEEP CLEAN AND RECEIVED FUNDING FROM TARGET AS WELL AS SUPPORT FROM YELLOWSACK, HOME DEPOT, AND OTHER COMPANIES.
