MENTAL HEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS: AWARD FULL PRICE (UP TO $150 PER SESSION) OF 12 SESSIONS WITH A LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED, NO QUESTIONS ASKED BASIS. 22 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED IN 2022, FOR A TOTAL OF 396 THERAPY SESSIONS. THIS PROGRAM REMOVES THE FINANCIAL BARRIER FOR THOSE SUFFERING TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE HELP THEY NEED. IT ALSO REMOVES THE PROOF-OF-HARDSHIP BARRIER WHICH CAN BE OVERWHELMING TO DEAL WITH AND CAN LEAVE OUT THOSE WHO MAY NOT QUALIFY FOR MORE TRADITIONAL ASSISTANCE BUT STILL NEED HELP PAYING FOR CARE.
