THERE ARE TWO PURPOSES OF THE ORAGANIZATION. THE FIRST IS TO ASSIST THE COMMUNITY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION THROUGH EDUCATION OF FISH MOVEMENT. THE SECOND IS TO FINANCIALLY SPONSOR OTHER 501(C)3 ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE SUPPORT AND PROMOTE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPECIAL NEEDS AND UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN TO FISH.TO ACCOMPLISH THIS, WE CONDUCT 5 REDFISH TAGGING TOURNAMENTS PER YEAR. DURING THE TOURNAMENTS, PARTICIPANTS TAG FISH IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY IN AN EFFOR TO ASSIST THE COMMUNITY WITH UNDERSTANDING THEIR MOVEMENT. REDFISH TAGGING PROGRAM: THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ASSIST THE COMMUNITY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION THROUGH EDUCATION OF FISH MOVEMENT. WE CONDUCT REDFISH TAGGING TOURNAMENTS. DURING THE TOURNAMENTS, PARTICIPANTS TAG FISH IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY IN AN EFFORT TO ASSIST THE COMMUNITY WITH UNDERSTANDING THE MOVEMENT OF FISH.OUR GOAL IS TO HAVE APPROXIMATELY 60 TEAMS OF REDFISH TAGGERS PARTICIPATE IN EACH OF THE TOURNAMENTS. EACH TEAM CONSISTING OF TWO INDIVIDUALS PAYS AN ENTRY FEE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TOURNAMENT. PROCEEDS OF THE FISHING TOURNAMENTS ARE PROVIDED TO THE CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AS DESCRIVED IN PROGRAM 2.THIS PROGRAM IS MANAGED BY THE ORGANIZATION'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN DONATED SPACE IN SLIDELL, LA.CHARITABLE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM: ANOTHER PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO FINANCIALLY SPONSOR OTHER 501C3 ORGANIZATIONS, SPECIFICALLY THOSE THAT PROVIDE SUPPORT AND PROMOTE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND TEACHING SPECIAL NEEDS AND UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN HOW TO FISH.WE WILL GIVE FUNDS TO OTHER 501C3 ORGANIZAITIONS THAT WORK IN THE AREA ABOVE.
