THE NO STARCH PRESS FOUNDATION, OUT OF 123 NUMBER OF APPLICANTS, THROUGH REVIEWS BY THE PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE AWARDED GRANTS OF 44,635 TO 5 GRANT RECIPIENTS OF WHICH ONLY 33,707 WAS ULTIMATELY FUNDED TO 5 GRANT RECIPIENTS. THE PROJECTS: MACHINE LEARNING DATA SETS FOR TRASH CANS TO IMPROVE RECYCLING. PRECISE PROGRAMMABLE MOTION FOR 3D PRINTER EXTRUDERS FOR PUBLIC USE. CBRS PRIVATE LTE NETWORK RESEARCH AND PROTOTYPE FOR ALTERNATIVE WIRELESS BROADBAND TO REDUCE THE COST OF INTERNET ACCESS FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
