OUR MISSION IS TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE ORAL HISTORIES THROUGH THE ARTS. THE CURRENT ENDEAVOR IS A 6 TO 7 EPISODE PODCAST TITLED BURIED ALIVE. EACH OF THE EPISODES TELL THE PERSONAL STORIES DEMONSTRATING THE PART THE ARTS PLAYED DURING THE CHINESE CULTURAL REVOLUTION IN THE STRUGGLE AGAINST REPRESSION AND FOR FINDING FREEDOM. WE HAVE PRODUCED THE PILOT EPISODE THAT IS AVAILABLE ON SPOTIFY AND ON THE STORY BOARDS WEBSITE. IN ADDITION, A CURRICULUM HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR TEACHERS TO USE WITH STUDENTS IN DISCOVERING AND PRESERVING THEIR OWN HISTORIES BEFORE THE STORIES ARE LOST OR FORGOTTEN. THE CURRICULUM OFFERS TOOLS FOR INTERVIEWING FAMILY MEMBERS AND OR OTHER INFLUENCIAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE INFORMED THEIR JOURNEY. THE STUDENT FINDINGS CAN BE EXPRESSED IN WRITTEN FORM, WITH RECORDINGS OT OTHER ARTISTIC MEANS. THE CURRICULUM MEETS STATE EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CLASSROOM USE AND WILL BE FREE TO ANY AND ALL.
