EDUCATION AND OUTREACHIMPROVED THE FATTYLIVERFOUNDATION.ORG WEBSITE AND USED SOCIAL MEDIA AS SCIENCE-BASED INFORMATION SOURCES ABOUT THE DISEASE FOR PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN FATTY LIVER DISEASE, ITS PROGRESSION TO NASH AND ULTIMATELY TO CIRRHOSIS; INCLUDING LIFESTYLE CHANGES AND OTHER STRATEGIES TO FIGHT THE DISEASE.
WELLNESS LEAGUEDEVELOPED A WELLNESS PROGRAM FOR TESTING PEOPLE WHO ARE AT RISK FOR SERIOUS LIVER FIBROSIS AND ITS COMPLICATIONS BEFORE THEY DEVELOP SYMPTONS AND WHILE THEY ARE UNDIAGNOSED. PROMOTED WELL PATIENT SCREENING FOR ASYMPTOMATIC DISEASE.
