CONNECTING THE MILITARY AND VETERAN COMMUNITY TO MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS RESOURCES AND TO A NETWORK OF PEER AND CIVILIAN SUPPORT TO PREVENT SUICIDE THROUGH THE OBJECTIVE ZERO APP.

PROVIDING PEER SUPPORT AND WELLNESS RESOURCES THROUGH THE OBJECTIVE ZERO APP. IN 2021 OVER 11,000 TEXT MESSAGES EXCHANGED AND OVER 2,200 HOURS OF CALLS BETWEEN VETERANS AND THEIR PEERS WERE FACILITATED ON THE OBJECTIVE ZERO APP WITH OVER 25,000 SESSIONS. OUR 11,000 APP USERS WERE CONNECTED TO WELLNESS ACTIVITIES OVER 3,000 TIMES AND CONNECTED MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES OVER 2,400 TIMES. WE CONNECTED 28 VETERANS TO THE VETERANS CRISIS LINE AND 6 VETERANS TO EMERGENCY SERVICES. WE ALSO TRAINED AND ONBOARDED OVER 200 NEW VOLUNTEERS. OBJECTIVE ZERO COMPLETED A PROGRAM EVALUATION WITH THE CDC AND CDC FOUNDATION AND DISCOVERED THAT 92.2% OF OUR AMBASSADORS LEARNED SOMETHING NEW AS A RESULT OF OUR TRAINING 96.8% BELIEVED THE INFORMATION WAS RELEVANT TO THEIR GOALS AND 95.9% OF AMBASSADORS WILL USE WHAT THEY LEARNED. APPROXIMATELY 78% OF OUR USERS HAVE EXPLORED THE RESOURCES AND ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE OBJECTIVE ZERO APP WITH 72% RESPONDING THEY WILL USE THESE RESOURCES IN THE FUTURE. EVERY PERSON SURVEYED 100% FOUND RESOURCES AND ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE APP HELPFUL.
