CERTIFIED COMMUNITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINIC (CCBHC) - THIS IS FUNDED BY SAMHSA FOR SCR TO PLAN AND IMPLEMENT BECOMING CCBHC CERTIFIED. THE OBJECTIVE IS FOR THIS PROGRAM TO IMPROVE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE FOR INDIVIDUALS ACROSS THE LIFESPAN BY SUPPORTING PROVIDERS TO OPERATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FEDERAL CCBHC CRITERIA AND THEREBY INCREASE ACCESS TO AND AVAILABILITY OF HIGH-QUALITY SERVICES THAT ARE RESPONSIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY; SUPPORT RECOVERY FROM MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER CHALLENGES VIA COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY-BASED MENTAL AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT AND SUPPORT. 234 PATIENTS WERE ENROLLED DURING THE FIRST YEAR OF THE GRANT PERIOD ENDING 9/29/2023.

THE PROJECT SERVES LOW-INCOME, FORMERLY INCARCERATED ADULTS RESIDING IN LAKE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. PBP OFFERS PATIENTS JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES, MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT, SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT, SYSTEM NAVIGATION SERVICES AND LINKAGES TO MEDICAL CARE.


CLINICAL TRIALS $63,404 - SCR WAS INVOLVED IN SEVERAL TRIALS OF MEDICATION USED IN THE TREATMENT OF MENTAL ILLNESS, INCLUDING MEDICATION FOR ADULTS WITH POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER, ADULTS WITH MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER AND MAJOR DEPRESSIVE EPISODE ASSOCIATED WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER, AND A STUDY TO ASSESS THE LONG-TERM SAFETY, TOLERABILITY, AND EFFICACY OF MEDICATION TO TREAT SCHIZOPHRENIA.
