HOUSING - WELD COLLABORATES WITH HOMEOWNERS AND DEVELOPMENT COMPANIES IN THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA TO UTILIZE AND CARE FOR PROPERTIES THAT ARE NOT OCCUPIED TO HOUSE WELD MEMBERS. WELD MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY A SMALL MEMBERSHIP FEE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM AND WELD FULL TIME STAFF MONITORS THE HOUSES AND MEMBERS TO ENSURE SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE. THIS PROGRAM GREATLY SERVES OUR MEMBERS AND COMMUNITY BY HOUSING INDIVIDUALS WHO OTHERWISE WOULD STRUGGLE OR BE UNABLE TO FIND A PLACE TO LIVE. IN 2022 WE SERVED 229 MEMBERS IN OUR HOUSING PROGRAM, SERVED BY OUR FULL TIME HOUSING STAFF OF 4 INDIVIDUALS.
WELD WORKS - WELD WORKS IS OUR EMPLOYMENT DIVISION OF THE ORGANIZATION. WORKS PARTNERS WITH DIFFERENT COMMUNITY PARTNERS THROUGHOUT THE GREATER SEATTLE AREA WHO NEED WORKERS AT THEIR COMPANIES. WHEN WE HAVE WELD MEMBERS WHO ARE SEEKING EMPLOYMENT WE PAIR THEM WITH THE COMMUNITY PARTNERS, IN THE HOPES OF FINDING OUR MEMBERS EVENTUAL FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT. IN 2022 WE SERVED 193 MEMBERS THROUGH OUR WELD WORKS PROGRAM. THESE MEMBERS WERE SERVED BY OUR FULL TIME WORKS TEAM OF 4 IN 2022 WITH SUPPORT FROM HR AND OUR ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT.
