WE HELD CPR/AED CLASSES FOR APPROXIMATELY 100 PEOPLE TO HAVE PLAYERS READY FOR EMERGENCIES ON THE COURTS. LAST YEAR WE PURCHASE AEDS SO THIS YEAR GOT THEM INSTALLED AT 3 LOCATIONS. WE HELD LEAGUES FOR SPRING AND FALL FOR OVER 350 PEOPLE. WE WORKED WITH CHESTERFIELD COUNTY TO GET ADDITIONAL COURTS IN TWO NEW LOCATIONS- HUGUENOT AND POINT OF ROCKS/DODD PARK AND TO REPLACE THE COURTS AT ROCKWOOD PARK. WE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE PROS TO COME AND TEACH AREA PLAYERS. WE BROUGHT IN A TRAINER TO TEACH AREA PLAYERS TO BECOME PICKLEBALL TRAINERS SO MANY CLASSES ARE BEING HELD THROUGHOUT THE AREA. VOLUNTEERS REPLACED THE CANOPIES AT CTC AND HELP REPAIR WIND SCREENS AND OTHER SMALL NEEDED REPAIRS.
