THE DOUBLEDAY SPORTS COMPLEX COMMITTEE IS A GROUP OF EIGHT SEPERATE ORGANIZATIONS REPRESENTING A VARIETY OF SPORTS AND COMMUNITY INTERESTS WITH A SHARED VISION AND MISSION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MULTI-USE SPORTS COMPLEX. THE GOAL OF THE COMPLEX IS TO SUPPORT YOUTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL, YOUTH SOCCER, YOUTH FOOTBALL, AND ADULT SOFTBALL, ALONG WITH EXPANDING PARTICIPATION, AND INSTILLING IN YOUTH THE ESSENTIAL QUALITIES OF TEAMWORK AND SPORTSMANSHIP, AS WELL AS PRIDE IN THEMSELVES AND THEIR COMMUNITY. OUR FORWARD THINKING ENVISIONS A COMPLEX THAT ALLOWS FOR THE FOLLOWING:1. FOUR YOUTH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL FIELDS2. FOUR ADULT SOFTBALL FIELDS3. TWO ADULT SOCCER FIELDS4.
