THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO ALLEVIATE THE PROBLEM OF POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST AFRICAN AMERICANS BY ENCOURAGING AND SPONSORING PUBLIC DEBATE OF THE PROBLEM OF POLICE VIOLENCE AND PROVIDING RELEVANT STATISTICAL INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS FOCUS ON ENDING RACISM AND POLICE VIOLENCE IN THE UNITED STATES BY CONDUCTING RESEARCH, COMPILING DATA, AND PUBLISHING INFORMATION REGARDING ACTS OF POLICE VIOLENCE. 8CANTWAIT: CAMPAIGN TO CHANGE USE OF FORCE POLICIES - THIS IS THE LARGEST REDUCTION IN THE POWER OF THE POLICE IN A GENERATION. WE INFLUENCED OR LED INITIATIVES IN 19 STATES AND OVER 350 CITIES TO PASS LEGISLATION RESTRICTING THE USE OF FORCE.NIXTHE6: CAMPAIGN TO REDUCE THE POWER OF POLICE UNIONS - WE MANAGE AND MAINTAIN THE ONLY DATABASE OF POLICE UNION CONTRACTS IN THE UNITED STATES. IN THE PAST YEAR, WE HAVE COLLECTED OVER 2,700 ADDITIONAL CONTRACTS AND MANAGED A TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS TO CODE THEM.WE ALSO MANAGE THE FIRST AND LARGEST DATABASE AND ANALYSES OF THE 22 STATES THAT HAVE A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER BILL OF RIGHTS AND HELPED TO LEAD THE SUCCESSFUL REPEAL OF THE MD LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER BILL OF RIGHTS, THE FIRST-EVER REPEAL IN U.S. HISTORY.ENDALLNOKNOCKS: CAMPAIGN TO END NO KNOCK RAIDS - WE INFLUENCED OR LED EVERY STATE-LEVEL LAW TO RESTRICT THE EXECUTION OF NO-KNOCK RAIDS, WITH 6 STATES CHANGING THEIR LAWS IN THE PAST YEAR AND THE DOJ ISSUED NATIONAL GUIDANCE TO LIMIT NO-KNOCK RAIDS BY FEDERAL AGENTS.
