MAJESTIC NORTHWEST MINISTRIES REMAINS COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING AND ENCOURAGING PEOPLE IN THEIR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST. JOSHUA SMITH, CARRI SMITH, JAMES BLANFORD, AND WENDY BLANFORD MAKE UP THE EXECUTIVE BOARD WITH JOSHUA SMITH SERVING AS THE PRESIDENT, AND CARRI SMITH SERVING AS THE SECRETARY/TREASURER. REVEREND BETTY NYBAKKEN CONTINUED IN HER POSITION AS AN ORDAINED MINISTER AND MISSIONARY EMERITUS IN 2022.FOLLOWING THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THE MINISTRY CONTINUED IN ITS OUTREACH TO THE GREATER LONGVIEW/KELSO, WA. AREA. UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO CONTINUING CONCERNS OVER THE SPREAD AND LINGERING EFFECTS OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS, SEVERAL OF THE MINISTRYS PLANNED EVENTS AND GATHERINGS WERE CANCELLED. OVER THE YEAR EACH OF THE BOARD MEMBERS CONTRACTED COVID-19 AND THE MINISTRY LOST SEVERAL FRIENDS, SUPPORTERS, AND FAMILY MEMBERS TO COVID RELATED DEATHS.ON A MORE POSITIVE NOTE, THE MINISTRY HELD A WEEKLY WOMENS SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY AT THE RESIDENCE OF REVEREND BETTY NYBAKKEN. PASTOR JOSH AND THE MINISTRY TRUCK TEAM DELIVERED BLANKETS, CLOTHING, AND FOOD TO THOSE LIVING ON THE STREETS OF LONGVIEW & KELSO IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR. ALSO, IN DECEMBER, THE TEAM DELIVERED 36 FAMILY BOXES TO THE COMMUNITY HOUSE SHELTER IN LONGVIEW, WA. THE BOXES CONTAINED BIBLES, SOCKS, BLANKETS, AND STOCKING CAPS TO ASSIST THE PEOPLE THAT VISITED AND TOOK UP TEMPORARY RESIDENCE IN THE SHELTER.PASTOR JOSH CONDUCTED TWO WEDDINGS AND OFFICIATED THREE FUNERALS IN 2022. HE CONTINUED TO MENTOR AND ENCOURAGE LOCAL MINISTRY LEADERS, MET WITH SEVERAL COUPLES FOR PRE-MARITAL AS WELL AS MARITAL COUNSELING, AND MAINTAINED A PRESENCE ON THE LOCAL COMMUNITY COLLEGES CAMPUS SERVING AS A VOLLEYBALL COACH. REVEREND BETTY NYBAKKEN EXPANDED HER ONLINE PRAYER AND MENTORING MINISTRIES IN 2022 AND CONTINUED WORKING ON HER MINISTRY BOOK ENTITLED, MIRACLES ALONG THE WAY. THE MINISTRY HOPES TO PUBLISH THE BOOK AS AN ENCOURAGEMENT AND OUTREACH TOOL IN LATE 2023. BETTY ALSO CONTINUES TO SHARE HER PHOTO AND SCRIPTURE PAGES VIA HER SOCIAL MEDIA TO PROVIDE HOPE AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO ALL OF HER FRIENDS, FAMILY MEMBERS, AND HER PASTORAL NETWORK. THERE ARE MANY FUTURE OUTREACH PLANS AS WE CONTINUE TO MOVE ALONG AS BEST WE CAN. A PODCAST IS ON THE HORIZON FOR LATE SPRING 2023 AND WILL COINCIDE WITH THE PUBLISHING OF THE MINISTRYS WEBPAGE WHICH IS CURRENTLY BEING DEVELOPED.THE MINISTRY REMAINS STEADFAST AND FOCUSED ON ENCOURAGING PEOPLE WITH THE LOVE AND GRACE OF JESUS CHRIST. OUR HOPE IS TO BE A GREAT REFLECTION OF CHRIST THROUGH OUR MINISTRY, COMMUNITY SERVICE, COMMUNICATIONS, OUTREACH PROJECTS, AND DONATIONS TO HOMELESS IN OUR COMMUNITIES.
