REGENERATION INTERNATIONAL (RI) ENGAGES IN ACTIVITIES, EITHER DIRECTLY OR BY PROVIDING SUPPORT TO PARTNERS AND STAKEHOLDERS, THAT HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO ADVANCE OUR MISSION OF REDUCING AND REVERSING GLOBAL WARMING AND CLIMATE CHANGE WHILE RESTORING THE ENVIRONMENT AND REDUCING/ELIMINATING RURAL POVERTY THROUGH ORGANIC AND REGENERATIVE FOOD, FARMING, AND LAND-USE. IN 2021, REGENERATION INTERNATIONAL:1) SUPPORTED, ATTENDED, AND HELPED ORGANIZE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES, MEETINGS, AND EDUCATIONAL PANELS (ONLINE AND IN-PERSON) ON REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE IN MEXICO, US, AUSTRALIA, INDIA, ZIMBABWE, SOUTH KOREA, PHILIPPINES, AND ARGENTINA PROMOTING THE HEALTH, ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE BENEFITS OF REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE TO LARGE AND DIVERSE AUDIENCES.2) HELPED EXPAND THE RI NETWORK OF PARTNERS THAT RELY ON RI FOR EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING RESOURCES AND ENGAGE WITH RI IN PROMOTING THE BENEFITS OF REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE THROUGH THEIR OWN NETWORKS. RI NOW HAS OVER 400 AFFILIATES IN 70 NATIONS. CONTINUED THE BUILDING AND STRENGTHENING OF MULTIPLE NATIONAL AND REGIONAL REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE NETWORKS, INCLUDING THE REGENERATION GUATEMALA, REGENERATION BELIZE, REGENERATION MEXICO, AND REGENERATION MIDWEST (US) ALLIANCES, AS WELL AS THE FARMERS AND RANCHERS FOR A GREEN NEW DEAL IN THE US AND THE LEAGUE OF ORGANIC MUNICIPALITIES IN THE PHILIPPINES.3) CONTINUED WORKING WITH HUDSON CARBON IN THE US TO OBTAIN INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION FOR A NEW SYSTEM OF CARBON CREDITS/OFFSETS THAT WE ARE CALLING ORGANIC ECO-CREDITS. RI'S LONG-TERM GOAL IS TO PROMOTE, FACILITATE AND ACCELERATE THE GLOBAL TRANSITION TO REGENERATIVE FOOD, FARMING AND LAND MANAGEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESTORING CLIMATE STABILITY, ENDING WORLD HUNGER AND REBUILDING DETERIORATED SOCIAL, ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC SYSTEMS. IN THE SHORT TERM, MOST OF OUR WORK FALLS UNDER ONE OF THREE MAJOR PROGRAM AREAS: EDUCATION, NETWORK-BUILDING AND POLICY WORK. -EDUCATION: WE EDUCATE CONSUMERS, FARMERS, POLICYMAKERS, MEDIA, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THE BENEFITS OF REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE AND LAND MANAGEMENT.-NETWORK-BUILDING: WE INVITE GROUPS TO JOIN OUR PARTNER NETWORK AND WE ASSIST GROUPS OR INDIVIDUALS AT THE LOCAL, REGIONAL OR NATIONAL LEVEL WHO ARE COMMITTED TO BUILDING REGENERATION ALLIANCES.-POLICY WORK: WE IDENTIFY, PROMOTE, AND GALVANIZE SUPPORT FOR LOCAL, REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL POLICY INITIATIVES THAT HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO ADVANCE THE TRANSITION TO REGENERATIVE FOOD, FARMING AND LAND MANAGEMENT.ON OCTOBER 21, 2021, WORLD FOOD DAY, RI ORGANIZED A GLOBAL 24-HOUR TEACH-IN ON EVERY CONTINENT WITH RI AFFILIATES SPEAKING ON FOOD AND FARM DEVELOPMENTS IN THEIR REGIONS WITH AN EMPHASIS ON BEST REGENERATIVE PRACTICES THAT CAN BE SCALED UP OR EXPANDED.IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER RI SENT A DELEGATION TO GLASGOW, SCOTLAND FOR THE UN GLOBAL CLIMATE SUMMIT (COP 26), WHERE WE NETWORKED WITH CLIMATE ACTIVISTS AND GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVES FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, AND ORGANIZED SEVERAL EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS. RI WILL ALSO SEND A DELEGATION TO EGYPT FOR COP 27 IN NOVEMBER OF 2022. RI REACHES ABOUT 500,000 PEOPLE/MONTH IN 70 COUNTRIES THROUGH OUR SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS, NEWSLETTER, LIST SERVES AND CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION. WE HAVE ABOUT 400 REGISTERED AFFILIATES AND THE NUMBER IS CONTINUALLY GROWING.
