AMEDISYS EMPLOYEES 1ST FUND: PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO OUR OWN ELIGIBLE TEAM MEMBERS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING SEVERE FINANCIAL NEED CAUSED BY UNEXPECTED EMERGENCIES SUCH AS NATURAL DISASTERS, SERIOUS ILLNESS OR INJURY, FUNERAL EXPENSES, OR EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES, LIKE A HOUSE FIRE. THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT THAT ANY ONE RECIPIENT MAY RECEIVE IS $2,500.
PATIENTS' SPECIAL NEEDS FUND: PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP OUR HOME HEALTH, HOSPICE AND PERSONAL CARE PATIENTS DURING A DIFFICULT TIME. JUST LIKE BEFORE, A REQUEST CAN BE MADE FOR UP TO $350 FOR GENERAL BILLS AND COMFORT ITEMS OR UP TO $750 FOR FUNERAL, CREMATION OR BURIAL ASSISTANCE.
