HOLISTICALLY EMPOWERED YOUTH, INC. IS AN ORGANIZATION IN BALTIMORE COUNTY THAT PROVIDES BASIC NEEDS ITEMS AND RESOURCES TO FAMILIES AND OTHER LOCAL NONPROFITS RECIEVED THROUGH DONATION FROM LOCAL AND NATIONAL CORPORATIONS. THE GOAL IS TO REDUCE BASIC NEED HOUSEHOLD COSTS FOR THOSE FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY THAT ARE IN NEED. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL EFFECTIVELY, PARTNERSHIPS ARE DEVELOPED WITH OTHER LOCAL NONPROFITS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY SERVING THOSE SAME FAMILIES AND PROVIDING THEM WITH THE RESOURCES FOR DISTRIBUTION. SINCE ITS ESTABLISHMENT, H.E.Y. HUB HAS BUILT STRONG COMMUNITY SUPPORT. DOZENS OF NONPROFITS HAVE PARTNERED TO RECIEVE THE VARIOUS BASIC HOUSEHOLD ITEMS LIKE CLOTHING, SHOES, FURNITURE, SMALL APPLIANCES AND MORE. THIS ENGAGEMENT HAS DRIVEN THE EXPANSION OF MORE CORPORATE IN-KIND DONATIONS FROM WALMART CORPORATION, LA-Z-BOY AND AMAZON. IN 2019, WE WERE ABLE TO GAIN MORE NAME RECOGNITION AND ATTRACT MORE LOCAL NONPROFITS ORGANIZATIONS TO PARTNER.
