THE RAPPAHANNOCK BENEVOLENT FUND PROVIDES FINANCIAL AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS OF RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY IN TIMES OF CRISIS. SUPPORT INCLUDES GRANTS FOR EMERGENCY HOME REPAIRS, UTILITY BILLS, AND RENT. THE RAPPAHANNOCK BENEVOLENT FUND ALSO ASSISTS WITH SUPPORT THAT FOSTERS SELF SUFFICIENCY FOR CLIENTS - HELPING BUSINESS START-UPS, ASSISTING WITH CHILD CARE COSTS AND FINDING RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
THE RAPPAHANNOCK BENEVOLENT FUND, THROUGH ITS HOME REPAIR PROGRAM, PROVIDES FUNDS FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS INCLUDING REPLACING BROKEN APPLIANCES, ROOFING, AND HVAC UNITS. THE PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES INSTALLATION OF WHEELCHAIR RAMPS FOR INCREASED ACCESSIBILITY FOR HOMEOWNERS.
