IN 2021 WE HAD SEVERAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING: COVID RELIEF AWARENESS PROGRAMS IN INDIA, CONTINUED GLOBAL SOLAR INSTALLATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO RURAL COMMUNITIES, AND THE TWO PROGRAMS DETAILED BELOW.GUATEMALA TRAINING CENTER:THROUGH 2021 WE RESTORED THE BUILDINGS IN GUATEMALA TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE A FULLY OPENED REGIONAL TRAINING CENTRE, THE FIRST OF ITS KIND IN LATAM. THE PROJECT TOOK LONGER THAN WE HAD HOPED SO THE FINAL OPENING DIDN'T HAPPEN UNTIL APRIL 2022. WE ARE NOW TRAINING SOLAR ENGINEERS, TEACHING OUR ENRICHE CO-CURRICULUM AND TRAINING WOMEN IN COFFEE AS A LIVELIHOOD WITH REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE. THIS WAS SUPPORTED BY PALO ALTO NETWORKS THROUGH THE SILICON VALLEY FUND.STARBUCKS TRAINING WOMEN TEA WORKERS IN INDIA & WOMEN DELIVER WELLNESS IN INDIA (MENSTRUATION HEALTH AND HYGIENE, EDUCATION & TRAINING SERVICES) :IN INDIA, SUPPORTED BY STARBUCKS WE WORKED WITH THE WOMEN ON TWO OF THE LARGE TEA ESTATES IN ASSAM, TRAINING WOMEN TO BE SOLAR ENGINEERS, EDUCATORS AND ENTREPRENEURS. BEEKEEPING AND SANITARY NAPKIN PRODUCTION WERE TWO OF THE LIVELIHOODS TAUGHT ALONGSIDE SOLAR ENTERPRISE AND GOOD SANITARY PRACTICES FOR HEALTH FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS.
