Part 3 - Line 4a
ISTR HOSTED A VIRTUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE, PHD SEMINAR, MENTORING PROGRAM AND 17 ONLINE EVENTS DURING 2021. THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE INCLUDED 535 REGISTRANTS FROM 58 COUNTRIES, INCLUDING 144 STUDENTS. THE PLATFORM PROVIDED A SPACE FOR 2 PLENARY EVENTS, 103 PAPER SESSIONS, 23 PANEL SESSIONS, 16 ROUNDTABLES AND 14 NETWORKING EVENTS. THE PHD VIRTUAL SEMINAR INCLUDED 39 PHD STUDENTS ENROLLED IN UNIVERSITIES IN 18 COUNTRIES AND 12 FACULTY WITH THREE KEYNOTES AND TWO SESSIONS ON GETTING PUBLISHED. THE MENTORING PROGRAM INCLUDED THIRTY-EIGHT PAIRS OF MENTORS/MENTEES IN ITS SIXTH YEAR. ONLINE PROGRAMMING CONTINUED WITH 17 SESSIONS INCLUDING RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND BOOK CLUBS. PUBLISHED SIX ISSUES OF VOLUNTAS, THE OFFICIAL JOURNAL OF THE ORGANIZATION DEALING WITH CIVIL SOCIETY, NONPROFIT AND PHILANTHROPY ISSUES. SUPPORTED THE ISTR ASIA PACIFIC NETWORK AND NEWSLETTER.
