TRANSFORMUS IS ON A MISSION TO MOBILIZE AND EMPOWER PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS TO SERVE CATALYST FOR CHANGE IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES. WE AIM TO PROMOTE UNITY DIVERSITY AND EQUITY THROUGH OUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS,COMMUNITY EVENTS AND TRAINING SERVICES

WE WERE ABLE TO ENGAGE 24 NEW YOUNG ADULTS IN OUR MONTHLY REAL TALK SESSIONS, WHICH IS A MULTIETHNIC, MULTIGENERATIONAL GATHERING WHERE YOUNG ADULTS CAN FIND THEIR VOICE AND BROADEN THEIR PERSPETIVES ON CURRENT EVENTS, SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES, AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES WITH WHICH THEY ARE FACED. ENROLLMENT DOUBLED AND WE PROVIDED OVER 40 COUNCELING HOURS TO 6 STUDENT.
WITHIN OUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM, WE HAD A 33% RETENTION RATE WHERE 4 OF THE FIRST-YEAR GRADUATES CONTINUED THEIR GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT IN LEADERSHIP AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP. TRANSFORMUS MOVEMENT WAS ALSO ABLE TO DO A KEYNOTE PRESENTATION ON LEADERSHIP FOR A COHORT OF 20 COLLEGE STUDENTS FROM NORTHEAST TEXAS COMMUNITY COUNTY COLLEGE.
WE WORKED COLLABORATIVELY WITH STRATEGIC PARTNERS TO HOST 10 COMMUNITY EVENTS INCLUDING A COUPLES EVENTS TO ENRICH YOUNG MARRIAGES, A 9-CITY TOUR INSPIRING YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS, AND A MUSIC FESTIVAL THAT SOUGHT TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT SUICIDE AND MENTAL HEALTH.
