PRAI EXISTS TO SPREAD AWARENESS OF NEUROIMMUNE DISORDERS, ADVOCATE FOR PATIENT CARE AND SUPPORT DATA-DRIVEN RESEARCH THAT WILL ULTIMATELY LEAD TO EFFECTIVE TREATMENTS AND CURES FOR THESE DISORDERS.

RESEARCH: - PRAI HAS FOSTERED RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLINICIANS AND SCIENTISTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA, STANFORD, MASS GENERAL AND THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON AND BUILT A COLLABORATIVE NETWORK FOR RESEARCH. THE INTERNATIONAL PANS/PANDAS PATIENT REGISTRY IN THE US AND CANADA RESULTED IN IN 2100 FULLY ENROLLED PARTICIPANTS AND 1,500 CONSENTED FAMILIES. THE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THIS PATIENT REGISTRY HAS BEEN BUILT AND THE PROJECT NOW RESIDES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON. FUTURE PROJECTS INCLUDE GROWING THE IPR THROUGHOUT EUROPE. SEVERAL EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS ARE UNDER WAY TO BETTER CHARACTERIZE THESE PEDIATRIC NEUROIMMUNE DISORDERS.
