DISTRESSED CHILDREN & INFANTS INTERNATIONAL (DCI) PROTECTS CHILD RIGHTS AND HELPS FAMILIES IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES OUT OF POVERTY THROUGH EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE, AND INCOME GENERATING OPPORTUNITIES. DCI ALSO CONNECTS AMERICAN YOUTH TO LESS FORTUNATE CHILDREN IN OTHER COUNTRIES AND INSPIRES THEM TO TAKE LEADERSHIP IN HUMANITARIAN CAUSES.

SUN CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM: PROVIDES UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME INDEPENDENT AND PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS BY REDUCING SCHOOL DROPOUT RATES, PROVIDING QUALITY EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE, AND PROTECTING CHILD RIGHTS. THE PROGRAM OPERATES IN BANGLADESH AND NICARAGUA.


DCI'S CHILD RIGHTS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN RAISES AWARENESS AND PROMOTES THE PROTECTION OF CHILD RIGHTS THROUGH CULTURAL EVENTS AND BIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN THE UNITED STATES. DCI'S YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM PREPARES AMERICAN YOUTH TO BE FUTURE HUMANITARIAN LEADERS. YOUTH ASSIST DCI IN ALL ITS ACTIVITIES AND ENCOURAGED TO ESTABLISH LOCAL DCI CHAPTERS AT THEIR SCHOOLS AND VOLUNTEER ABROAD AT DCI-SUPPORTED PROJECTS.


ORPHAN SUPPORTPROGRAM: PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR SHELTER,FOOD, BASIC NECESSITIES EDUCATION, SKILL DEVELOPMENT,AND CULTURAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES TO GOVERNMENT-RUN AND NON-GOVERMMENT ORPHANAGES OF BANGLADESH AND NEPAL.
