GENERAL FLY FISHING EDUCATION, INCLUDING CASTING AND FLY TYING INSTRUCTION, IS MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH EVENTS AND SPECIAL ACTIVITIES.

THE GROUP RETURN FOR FLY FISHERS INTERNATIONAL (FFI) IS COMPRISED OF CLUBS AND COUNCILS OF THE ORGANIZATION. THESE ORGANIZATIONS ARE CONCERNED WITH CONSERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND THE WILDLIFE THAT INHABIT THEM, AS WELL AS PROMOTING THE SPORT AND ART OF FLY FISHING. THEIR MISSION AND PURPOSE IS TO EXPAND AND FURTHER FLY FISHING PARTICIPATION THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION, RECREATIONAL AND STEWARDSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN THE SPORT OF FLY FISHING. THESE ORGANIZATIONS FOCUS ON BRINGING THEIR MEMBERSHIPS AND COMMUNITIES A WIDE VARIETY OF QUALITY PROGRAMS THAT WILL ENHANCE THEIR KNOWLEDGE, ENJOYMENT, AND SUCCESS IN THE SPORT OF FLY FISHING. OVER 1,300 CLUB & COUNCIL MEMBERS HAVE VOLUNTEERED 10,000 HOURS TO ASSIST IN A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS THROUGH THE YEAR IN AN EFFORT TO EXPAND THE EXPOSURE OF FLY FISHING. THIS INCLUDES FLY TYING, CASTING DEMOS AND CLINICS, ROD BUILDING, FISH WELFARE AND HABITAT, AND WATER EDUCATION. THESE PROGRAMS HAVE BENEFITED WELL OVER 15,000 PARTICIPANTS.
