NORTH VALLEY FOOD BANK BUILDS FOOD SECURITY AND STRENGTHENS COMMUNITIES. WE PROVIDED FOOD ASSISTANCE TO A TOTAL OF 1406 DIFFERENT HOUSEHOLDS WITH A TOTAL OF 3332 DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS THROUGH OUR LOCAL DISTRIBUTION IN WHITEFISH, OUR MOBILE PANTRIES IN NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES, AND OUR DELIVERIES TO SENIOR CITIZENS. WE ALSO DELIVERED FOOD TO RURAL PARTNER PANTRIES IN GLACIER AND LINCOLN COUNTY AND FACILITATED A SUMMER MEALS PROGRAM FOR AN ESTIMATED 20 FAMILIES DAILY.
THE ORGANIZATION FACILITATED A SUMMER MEALS PROGRAM SERVING AN AVERAGE OF 15 FAMILIES FIVE DAYS A WEEK FOR THREE MONTHS AND SUBCONTRACTED WITH NEIGHBORWORKS MONTANA TO INCREASE ACCESS TO HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS.
