THE HELENA SYMPHONY PROVIDES MUSIC OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY IN LIVE PERFORMANCES FOR THE GREATER HELENA COMMUNITY. IN 2020-21, 15 CONCERTS WERE SCHEDULED (FOUR CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19) BY A 78-MEMBER REGIONAL PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA WITH MUSICIANS FROM THE ENTIRE STATE OF MONTANA, WYOMING, WASHINGTON, UTAH, AND IDAHO. A 120-VOICE MEMBER AUDITIONED (NON-PAID) SYMPHONIC CHORUS JOINS THE SYMPHONY OCCASIONALLY. THE SYMPHONY PERFORMS FOR OVER 30,000 PEOPLE ANNUALLY.COVID-19 MADE US REIMAGINE HOW TO CONTINUE PERFORMING WITHOUT AN AUDIENCE IN ATTENDANCE. AS A RESULT, ALL CONCERTS FROM SEPTEMBER 2020 TO MAY 2021 WERE LIVESTREAMED ONLINE WITH NO AUDIENCE IN THE CONCERT HALL.
