FAD EXERCISE-AUGUST OF 2023, MPPC ALONG WITH NPB, AND THE MT DOL HELD A 4 DAY FOREIGN ANIMAL DISEASE EXERCISE WHERE WE WALKED THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IN MONTANA IF THERE WAS A FOREIGN ANIMAL DISEASE OUTBREAK. THIS PROGRAM WAS FUNDED THROUGH THE NATIONAL PORK BOARD
2023 PORK LINKS EVENT- EACH YEAR IN OCTOBER THE MPPC HOLDS AN EDUCATIONAL EVENT FOR THE PRODUCERS ACROSS THE STATE. THIS YEAR'S PORK LINKS EVENT HIGHLIGHTED THE FAD EXERCISE, AND THE US SHIP PROGRAM.
2023 ANNUAL MEETING- EACH YEAR IN JANUARY THE MPPC HOSTS ITS ANNUAL MEETING AND TRADE SHOW IN GREAT FALLS. THE THEME WAS SUSTAINABILITY IN ACTION AND SPEAKERS REVOLVED AROUND THE TOPIC OF SUSTAINABILITY. THERE WERE 34 VENDORS FOR THE PRODUCERS TO ENGAGE WITH.
