ANNUAL CIT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: 1,234 ATTENDEES 1) RAISING PUBLIC AND STAKEHOLDER AWARENESS THROUGH EDUCATION AND OUTREACH, 2) ESTABLISHING AND DISSEMINATING RECOMMENDED STANDARDS FOR DEVELOPING, IMPLEMENTING, AND SUSTAINING CIT PROGRAMS BASED ON THE CORE ELEMENTS OF CIT AS DEVELOPED IN MEMPHIS, TN 3) PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO COMMUNITIES INTERESTED IN DEVELOPING CIT PROGRAMS, 4) SUPPORTING RESEARCH AND EVALUATION OF CIT PROGRAMS, 5) PARTNERING WITH CIT PROGRAMS IN VARIOUS LOCALITIES TO HOLD CIT CONFERNCES.
