WE COMPLETED A HOSPITAL IN 2003 AT OKPO IN THE SE OF NIGERIA AND HANDED IT OVER TO THE COMMUNITY. WE ARE PAYING THE STAFF INCLUDING THE DOCTOR. BECAUSE THE HOSPITAL IS NOT SELF-SUFFICIENT, WE HAVE BEEN SHOULDERING THE FINANCIAL BURDEN TO KEEP IT OPEN FOR THE AMAZING SERVICES IT PROVIDES FOR THE POOREST OF THE POOR. WE ALSO PAY THE STAFF INCLUDING A RESIDENT DOCTOR TO SAVE LIVES. HOWEVER, THE MEDICAL DOCTOR QUIT AND WE ARE IN SEARCH OF ANOTHER MEDICAL DOCTOR, ESPECIALLY THE ONE THAT IS RETIRED. IT HAS NOT BEEN EASY TO FIND ONE BUT WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF HIRING ANOTHER DOCTOR/HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION.
