HOUSING STABILIZATION SERVICES: HHF IS CERTIFIED FOR HOUSING STABLIZATION WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, WHICH PROVIDED LONG-TERM LONG TERM CASE MANAGEMETN NEEDED TO ASSIST PEOPLE THROUGH A HOUSING CRISIS.
ABUNDANCE FOOD SHARE: ABUNDANCE COLLECTS AND REDISTRIBUTES APPROXIMATELY 20,000 POUNDS OF FOOD EACH MONTH IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CARVER AND SCOTT COUNTIES AND DIVERTS FOOD AWAY FROM THE WASTE STREAMS. HHF PURCHASED A FOOD TRUCK IN 2021 FOR $35005 TO COOK FOOD THAT IS DIVERTED FROM THE WASTE STREAM. WE USED THE TRUCK TO MAKE THE COMMUNITY CONNECTION WITH PEOPLE THAT MAY NO TBE ABLE TO ACCESS FOOD OR WANT MORE INFORMATION ABOUTE FOOD WASTE DIVERSION PROGRAMS.
