WE PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH MENTORS. WE SCREEN VOLUNTEERS FOR SAFETY AND COMPATABILITY AND THEN MATCH THEM WITH CHILDREN. WE THEN MONITOR AND SUPPORT THE MATCH TO ENSURE CHILD SAFETY AND POSITIVE OUTCOMES.

RECRUIT, SCREEN AND TRAIN VOLUNTEERS TO MATCH AS MENTORS WITH AT-RISK YOUTH. AFTER THE MATCH IS MADE, PROVIDE CONTINUOUS AND PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT AND MONITORING OF THE MATCH TO ENSURE SAFETY AND QUALITY. IN 2021, 108 NEW MATCHES WERE MADE AND 316 CHILDREN WERE SERVED ACROSS THE STATE OF ALASKA IN THE FOUR URBAN CENTERS: ANCHORAGE, MAT-SU BOROUGH,FAIRBANKS AND JUNEAU AS WELL AS HAINES AND SITKA.
