WE PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH MENTORS. WE SCREEN VOLUNTEERS FOR SAFETY AND COMPATIBILITY AND THEN MATCH THEM WITH CHILDREN. WE THEN MONITOR AND SUPPORT THE MATCH TO ENSURE CHILD SAFETY AND POSITIVE OUTCOMES.

RECRUIT, SCREEN AND TRAIN VOLUNTEERS TO MATCH AS MENTORS WITH AT-RISK YOUTH. AFTER THE MATCH IS MADE, PROVIDE CONTINUOUS AND PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT AND MONITORING OF THE MATCH TO ENSURE SAFETY AND QUALITY. IN 2022, 281 CHILDREN WERE SERVED ACROSS THE STATE OF ALASKA IN THE FOUR URBAN CENTERS: ANCHORAGE, MAT-SU BOROUGH, FAIRBANKS, JUNEAU AS WELL AS HAINES AND SITKA.
