THE JCC FEDERATION OF SAN LUIS OBISPO SEEKS TO FOSTER A UNITED COMMUNITY ON THE CENTRAL COAST THROUGH PROGRAMS OFFERING SPIRITUAL, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES BASED ON JEWISH PRINCIPLES.

THE SLO JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL IS A POPULAR CULTURAL PROGRAM THAT CONNECTS THE COMMUNITY AND ENHANCES DIVERSITY THROUGH A JEWISH LENS. OVER 600 AREA RESIDENTS AND VISITORS ATTEND THE FESTIVAL WHICH INCLUDES A WEEKEND OF MOVIES, ENGAGING WITH FILMMAKERS, AND RECEPTIONS. OUR AUDIENCE IS A CROSS-SECTION OF PEOPLE OF VARIOUS BACKGROUNDS, SOCIO-ECONOMIC LEVELS, AND GEOGRAPHIES THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL COAST OF CALIFORNIA.
CAMP SHORESHIM AND CAMP ALEPH-TOTS ARE OUR SUMMER PROGRAMS THAT CONNECT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THROUGH JEWISH ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION. THE CAMPS ATTRACT CHILDREN FROM THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL COAST OF CALIFORNIA TO ENJOY A WEEK OR TWO OF NATURE-BASED ACTIVITIES THAT CONNECT TO JEWISH TRADITIONS.
THE JCC FEDERATION OF SAN LUIS OBISPO BRINGS THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER WITH SPECIAL CULTURAL OFFERINGS; OFTEN FEATURING JEWISH MUSIC OR MUSICIANS AND JEWISH CULTURAL PERFORMANCES. THESE SPECIAL EVENTS BRING IN AUDIENCES OF 30 TO 150 PEOPLE OF VARIOUS BACKGROUNDS AND AGES THAT RESIDE ON THE CENTRAL COAST OF CALIFORNIA.
