CHILDRENS MINISTRYNEW ST PHILLIPS MBC (NSP) VALUES EVERY CHILD THAT ENTERS INTO ITS DOORS AND EVERY CHILD WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. THE CHURCH IS FOCUSED ON TRANSFORMING A GENERATION AND THAT FOCUS STARTS WITH OUR CHILDREN. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, NEW ST PHILLIPS MBC HOSTS A NUMBER OF EVENTS THAT ARE FOCUSED SPECIFICALLY FOR OUR CHILDREN. THESE EVENTS FILL AND ENTERTAIN OUR CHILDREN BOTH SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY.EVERY 2ND & 4TH SUNDAY AT OUR REGULAR CHURCH SERVICES, AND EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING AT WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY, THE CHILDRENS MINISTRY AT NEW ST PHILLIPS MBC OFFERS CLASSES, WHICH ALLOW CHILDREN TO HAVE A MORE PRODUCTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. BOYS AND GIRLS LEARN GODS TRUTH AND HOW IT APPLIES TO THEIR DAILY LIVES; THE CHILDRENS MINISTRY GOALS ARE TO INFLUENCE CHILDREN POSITIVELY TO MAKE WISE CHOICES AND ACTIONS WITH GOD IN MIND. BULLOCK WAS CHOSEN AS THE PASTOR WITH FOUR OFFICERS; DEACON COLLIE SESSUM, DEACON ED TRIPPLE, SISTER SHELIA BRITTON AND BROTHER ALLEN POSLEY. THE MEMBERS WERE BROTHER JIM DADE, SISTER MARY DADE, SISTER MINNIE BULLOCK, SISTER VIRGINIA RODGERS, SISTER JESSIE WILLIAMS, SISTER LUCY DAVIS AND SISTER OLLIE SESSUM.ON APRIL 13, 1998, THE CHURCH ELECTED REV. J. DEWITT CLARK AS OUR NEW PASTOR. HE IS A YOUNG MAN WITH A GREAT VISION.SOMEONE SAID THE PAST IS PROLONGED, AND WHEN WE CONSIDER OUR YEARS OF HISTORY WE DO REALIZE THAT THE CREDIT BELONGS TO THE MASTER.
