HUMBLE ISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE SCHOOLS AND PROGRAMS OF THE HUMBLE ISD. FUNDS RAISED BY THE FOUNDATION PROVIDE RESOURCES TO ADVANCE THE INITIATIVES AND INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS OF THE HUMBLE ISD WHICH PROMOTE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT.

THE FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WAS CREATED BY CONCERNED COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO WANTED TO SUPPORT INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. THE FOUNDATION IS GOVERNED BY A BOARD OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND LEADERS. A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE HUMBLE ISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND THE DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT ARE FOUNDATION BOARD MEMBERS TO ENSURE COORDINATION BETWEEN THE FOUNDATION AND DISTRICT GOALS AND ACTIVITIES. THE FOUNDATION FUNDS PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES THAT FALL OUTSIDE THE SCOPE OF THE DISTRICT'S NORMAL OPERATING BUDGET. THE FOUNDATION HAS MADE HUNDREDS OF CREATIVE IDEAS A REALITY THROUGH THE GENEROUS SUPPORT OF COMMUNITY DONORS.
