THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE HOUSTON HISPANIC FORUM IS THE EDUCATION OF HISPANIC YOUTH. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE SPONSORSHIP OF CAREER AND EDUCATION DAY TO ENCOURAGE HISPANIC STUDENTS TO FINISH HIGH SCHOOL AND ASSIST THEM IN FORMULATING CAREER GOALS. APPROXIMATELY 10,000 STUDENTS, EDUCATORS AND EMPLOYERS ATTEND CAREER DAY.
MISSION: TO IGNITE AN INTEREST IN STEM LEARNING TO PREPARE OUR YOUTH TO COMPETE GLOBALLY THROUGHT ANALYTICAL THINKING AND DESIGN LEARNING THAT FOSTERS CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION. TECHPAK IS A ONE-DAY STEM WORKSHOP SPONSORED BY INTERNET ESSENTIAL FROM COMCAST. THIS IS AN EVEN FOR 500 STUDENS IN K-12TH GRADE. THIS WILL GIVE STUDENS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN FREE STEM HANDS ON EXPERICNE WITH THE CHNACE TO INTERACT WITH PROFESSIONALS IN VARIOUS STEM FIELDS.
