AS A NOT FOR PROFIT 501(C)19 VETERANS SERVICE ORGANIZATION, WE PROVIDE EDUCATION, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL BENEFITS TO VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES, RAISE MONEY IN SUPPORT OF VETERANS AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS SUCH AS THE VETERANS TRANSPORTATION. WE PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION FOR ABOUT 15 TO 20 NEEDY VETERANS TO VA AND VA HOSPITALS MONTHLY IN THE SURROUNDING AREA, PLAN AND SPONSOR THE ANNUAL VETERANS DAY PARADE, PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES THAT HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED, PROVIDE VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES MEALS AT THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS AND OTHER TIMES OF THE YEAR. IN ADDITION, WE ALSO SUPPORT VETERANS DAY OUT AND HELP FEED ABOUT 200 OR MORE VETERANS FROM SENIOR CITIZENS HOMES. WE PROVIDE AMERICANISM EDUCATION TO SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN ON THE AMERICAN FLAG, PUT OUT OVER 1,000 FLAGS ON VETERANS GRAVES ANNUALLY, RAISE MONEY AND SUPPORT THE PARKER COUNTY VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK, RAISE MONEY AND DONATE TO VARIOUS COMMUNITY CHARITY PROJECTS SUCH AS BOYS STATE, GIRLS STATE, AND YOUTH SPO
