THE TYLER JUNIOR COLLEGE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIP, PROGRAM AND CAPITAL SUPPORT TO ENSURE THAT TJC CONTINUES ITS LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE BY SUCCESSFULLY SERVING THE EDUCATIONAL AND WORKFORCE NEEDS OF COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT EAST TEXAS.

AWARDED 1,603 SCHOLARSHIPS FROM PERMANENTLY AND TEMPORARILY RESTRICTED FUNDS TO 1,063 TJC STUDENTS. THESE AWARDS MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR MANY OF THE STUDENTS TO RECEIVE A COLLEGE EDUCATION WHICH THEY COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD, HELPING THEM TO BECOME LEADERS IN THEIR COMMUNITY.
SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS TO PROMOTE THE MISSION OF TYLER JUNIOR COLLEGE INCLUDING EXPENDITURES FOR ART, ATHLETICS, TECHNOLOGY, INTERNATIONAL GOODWILL TRAVEL, LIBRARY, NURSING AND OTHER ACADEMICS INCLUDING EMERGENCY FUNDING FOR COVID RELATED INITIATIVES. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION CONTRIBUTED FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ROBERT M. ROGERS NURSING AND HEALTH SCIENCE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR THE ROGERS PALMER PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, THE SUTTON CULTURAL ARTS PLAZA, AND THE HARTLEY HONOR PLAZA.
