THE ORGANIZATION IS CHARTERED BY THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH BUREAU OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TO DEVELOP, IMPLEMENT, AND MONITOR REGIONAL EMERGENCEY SERVICES OR TRAUMA SYSTEM PLANS FOR TRAUMA SERVICE AREA "J; AND TO OVERSEE TRAUMA SYSTEM NETWORKING.
