TO PRESERVE, ENRICH AND CONSERVE THE UNIQUE RESOURCES OF BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK AND THE RIO GRANDE WILD AND SCENIC RIVER THROUGH PHILANTHROPIC EFFORTS AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE.

THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK WITH MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS AND BY SUPPORTING AND PROMOTING AWARENESS OF THE NEED FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION. THIS YEAR WE PURCHASED OVER 3,000 ACRES FOR FUTURE PARK BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT. WE ALSO PARTNERED WITH THE PARK ON SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS IN SUSTAINABILITY EFFORTS, INCLUDING UPDATES TO THE ON-SITE RECYCLING CENTER, UPGRADED EQUIPMENT, UPDATED VISITOR EDUCATION, AND NEW WASTE AND RECYCLING RECEPTACLES THROUGHOUT THE PARK.
