TO ENRICH AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY LIFE OF NORTH TEXAS AREA RESIDENTS, ESPECIALLY FAMILIES AND CHILDREN, THROUGH FREE CONCERTS OF CLASSICAL MUSIC AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES.

REGULARLY SCHEDULED FREE-TO-THE-PUBLIC CONCERTS ARE HELD 12 TIMES EACH YEAR AT THE HORCHOW AUDITORIUM OF THE DMA AND OTHER VENUES IN THE DALLAS ARTS DISTRICT 7 HALLAM FAMILY CONCERT TOTAL AND MODDY PERFORMANCE CENTER 4 BASICALLY BEETHOVEN FESTIVAL CONCERTS. EACH CONCERT IS A PROGRAM OF CLASSICAL OR CONTEMPORARY-CLASSICAL MUSIC PERFORMED BY PROFESSIONAL WORLD-CLASS MUSICIANS FROM THE DALLAS AREA AND FROM LOCATIONS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. EACH YEAR THERE IS ONE PROGRAM SPECIFICALLY FOR CHILDREN, BUT FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN ARE ALWAYS WELCOME. FACP ALSO HAS AN ONLINE PRESENCE VASTLY EXPANDED SINCE THEBEGINNING OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. IN-PERSON CONCERTS WERE VIDEOTAPED AND RELEASED ONLINE DURING LOCKDOWN. IN JULY, DURING OUR BASICALLY BEETHOVEN FESTIVAL WE HAD 5,150 VIEWS OF SUBSTANTIAL DURATION.
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS FINE ARTS CHAMBER PLAYERS HAS LONG-TERM MUSIC RESIDENCIES IN THREE DALLAS PUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT OFFER INDIVIDUALIZED COACHING IN VOICE, PIANO, AND VIOLIN. DURING THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR, 5 FACP MUSIC TEACHERS HAD 85 STUDENTS TOTAL. SCHOOLS SERVED ARE DEMOGRAPHICALLY MOSTLY MINORITY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED. FACP PROVIDES ROUGHLY 25 VIOLINS FOR 4-8TH GRADE VIOLIN STUDENTS, AND VOICE AND PIANO PRIVATE-TUTORING FOR 9-12TH GRADE. ABOUT 648 LESSONS. SCHOOL LESSONS DURING FY2021 WERE PUT ONLINE, AND PRIVATE LESSONS REMAINED UNALTERED SAVE THAT RESPECT.
ALL OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES DUE TO COVID-19 LOCKDOWN, ALL AUXILIARY PROGRAMMING IN ADDITION TO OUR REGULAR SEASON WAS SUSPENDED, TO RETURN IN FULL IN THE COMING YEAR. ADDITIONALLY, EXPENSES HAVE BEEN INCURRED BY THE NECESSITY OF VIDEOTAPING AND SOUND ENGINEERING FOR EACH CONCERT SINCE THE PANDEMIC.
