BARRY WOOD MINISTRIES ALSO FUNDS PROJECTS SUCH AS CHURCH CONSTRUCTION, DRILLING WATER WELLS, BIBLE DISTRIBUTION AND SENDING MEDICAL MISSION TEAMS.

ACT MINISTRY: TRAIN, SUPPORT AND SUPPLY EQUIPMENT FOR AFRICAN NATIONALS AS THEY PROVIDE AIDS EDUCATION AND CHRISTIAN WITNESS IN SIX EAST AFRICAN COUNTRIES. EQUIPPED WITH A PROJECTOR, DVD PLAYER, AND SOUND SYSTEM, THEY TRAVEL BY MOTORBIKES TO REMOTE AREAS TO PRESENT THE GOSPEL IN SCHOOLS AND VILLAGES. THESE TRAINED LEADERS ARE EDUCATORS ON HIV AIDS, SKILLED EVANGECUBE TRAINERS AND READY EVANGELISTS USING FILMS SUCH AS THE JESUS FILM. IN 2021, APPROXIMATELY 500,000 INDIVIDUALS MADE DECISIONS FOR CHRIST. THE AFRICAN STAFF, LABORING IN REMOTE PLACES, PLANTED MORE THAN 125 NEW CHURCHES WHICH ARE LED BY DISCIPLED PASTORS.
KEYMAN CONFERENCES: WEEK-LONG CONFERENCES HELD IN SIX AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO TRAIN YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN IN CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP, DISCIPLE MAKING AND EVANGELISM. THESE TRAINEES ARE GIVEN THE TOOLS TO BECOME EFFECTIVE CHURCH LEADERS WITHIN THEIR OWN COUNTRY. BARRY WOOD MINISTRIES FOCUSES ON TRAINING AFRICAN PASTORS IN BIBLE STUDY AND SERMON PREPARATION. IN 2021 HUNDREDS OF PASTORS AND OTHER LEADERS RECEIVED NEW STUDY BIBLES AND EXTENSIVE TRAINING.
OVERSEAS OUTREACH PROJECTS: THESE PROJECTS INCLUDE HELPING FINANCE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW CHURCHES AND PROVIDING FUNDS FOR PROJECTS SUCH AS WATER WELLS OR RAIN WATER RETENTION SYSTEMS, AND PROVIDING FOOD FOR DISPLACED PEOPLE SCATTERED IN REFUGEE TYPE CAMPS. IN 2017, THE "SHEPHERD'S HOUSE" TRAINING CENTER ON MASSAI LAND IN WESTERN KENYA WAS COMPLETED. IN 2021 WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED TO BRING ELECTRICITY TO THE KAWAI SHEPHERD'S HOUSE TRAINING CENTER AND FURNISHING THE DORMITORY WAS COMPLETED. THOSE FACILITIES WILL HELP MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO EQUIP HUNDREDS MORE PASTORS TO REACH THEIR OWN PEOPLE FOR CHRIST. FOUR STRATEGICALLY PLACED COUNTRY OFFICES STAFFED BY TRAINED AFRICAN NATIONALS ASSIST IN OVERSEEING AND DISBURSING FUNDS FOR ONGOING PROJECTS.
