THE ORDER OF THE ELKS, AND THIS LODGE, IS INVOLVED IN PHILANTHROPY FOR GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS. COMMUNITY SERVICES AND DONATIONS ARE MADE TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS, GROUPS, AND INDIVIDUALS. FRATERNAL ACTIVITES ARE PROVIDED FOR MEMBERS

VOLUNTEERS CONDUCT CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SERVING RECIPIENTS IN THE FEED LAKE HIGHLANDS CHARITY OR CONDUCTING MONTHLY VISITS TO THE DALLAS VA HOSPITAL. WE ALSO PROVIDE PROTHESES AND OTHER MEDICAL SUPPORT FOR NEEDY FAMILIES IN THE AREA. THROUGH SEVERAL SPECIFIC FUNDRAISING EFFORTS WE PROVIDE A PORTION OF THE FUNDING FOR THE TEXAS ELKS CHILDREN SERVICES, INC., SUMMER CAMP FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN. CERTAIN GRANTS FROM THE ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION ARE USED TO SUPPLEMENT THESE CHARITABLE ACTIVITES WHICH ARE LARGELY FUNDED THROUGH OUR TEXAS STATE LICENSED BINGO OPERATION. AGAIN, COVID HAS RESTRICTED MANY OF THESE ACTIVITES WHICH WOULD NORMALLY HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT 2021 AND 2022.
